The destruction ‘made Staten Island a center for people coming together to care for each other,’ says Dolan.
Timothy Cardinal Dolan told Staten Island churchgoers Sunday that humanity has triumphed over disaster a year after Hurricane Sandy struck.
“What we most remember at this Mass is the spirit of solidarity and resilience … that has made Staten Island a center for people coming together to care for each other,” Dolan said at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
